The Mozambican dancers Fenias Nhumaio and Deissane Machava will perform at Casa África on the 5th of October, at 8:00 pm, the piece by choreographer Asier Zabaleta entitled "Otempodiz".

- From 15 June until 2 July, the Founding Festivities offer three weeks full of encounters connected with traditions, music and, especially, with children in a year in which the city has been internationally recognised for its commitment to this sector of the population and delegates to the children of VOPIA (Voces de Órgano de Participación de la Infancia y de la Adolescencia) the responsibility of officiating at a proclamation that imagines the city of their dreams.
- Between the show "Volver. Tango Sinfónico", the protagonist of the closing of the proclamation that will take place on Saturday 17 June, and the concert that José Vélez will give on the night of San Juan, and also before and after those dates, the city will host festivals, events, cycles and other musical events of great level such as the tribute to Amy Winehouse offered by her original band, the concert by Olga Cerpa and Mestisay or the night of the concerts of the tenth edition of Sonora Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Loquillo.
- The stages of the Plaza de La Música, the Plaza de Santa Ana, the Plaza de Santo Domingo and the courtyard of the Palacete Rodríguez Quegles will operate as venues for open-air events, while the Miller Building and the Castillo de Mata Museum will host other types of events that require their infrastructures. The productions of Dorado Producciones, Escena Creativa, Bypass Teatro and Aerial Circo de Lanzarote will be part of the next Festival to be held from 6 to 23 July.
On 27, 28 and 29 April and 4, 5 and 6 May, the cultural space will host a concert that will bring together forty musicians on stage, the singers Fasur Rodríguez, Lucía Viera, Samuel Guedes, Rubén Pérez and Nereida Peña, the choristers Carla Vega, Tarahis María Pestana and Lucía Martín and a corps de ballet made up of six dancers.

The Governing Board of the Consistory approves an award that will mean an increase from the 440,000 euros per year of the current budget of the training entity to 695,500 euros over the next 3 years.
The exhibition will remain open until 10 May, from 10:00 to 14:00 hours from Monday to Friday and from 17:00 to 20:00 hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Saturdays it will also be open from 11:00 to 14:00, as well as on the first Sunday of the month during the same hours.

Launch of "La Biblioteca se mueve", a new service for requesting books by telephone
Talented pianists, including professionals, students and spontaneous musicians, together with other musicians, will celebrate the fifth edition of "Happy Piano Day" in nine different venues in the city, on board a bus and on an interactive keyboard.
The event kicks off at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday 25 March, on the steps of the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium, with an inaugural session that will mark the start of the programme at 12:00 p.m. simultaneously at the rest of the venues.
At 19:15 hours, in the Plaza de diputado Eduardo Suárez Morales in La Puntilla, a triple closing concert of JapoSpain, by Satomi Morimoto and María Dolores Gaitán, the Youth Choir of the OFGC and Nauzet Mederos and, finally, the Cuban pianist Roberto Carcassés and the voice of Virginia Guantanamera, will bid farewell to the day.
